Senior Procurement Specialist
Job Description:

• Experience Required: 7-10 Years
• Industry: Preferably from contracting company
• Qualification: Engineering from a reputed University (Electrical or Mechanical)
Roles and Responsibilities for Regional Procurement Buyer:
• Collaborate, collect inputs, float RFQ, negotiate with vendors and process purchase orders as per defined SLA.
• Support contracts/bidding team to get optimum vendor cost to improve hit ratio.
• Work with vendors to get annual rate contracts signed for major spend categories and look for opportunities for cost reduction.
• Maintain and circulate MIS for the regional business and review with CFT on a monthly basis.
• Own a complete P2P cycle for the region to support seamless business operations.
• Take complete charge of all third-party (trading) materials delivery & installation by vendors, visit the vendors premises as and when required to ensure the delivery performance is always maintained at 100%.
• Work on continuous improvement and come up with innovative ideas to reach potential cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support them for all vendor-related issues.
• Coordinate with the QC team for all incoming project materials inspection and handle rejections properly.
• Carry out new vendor assessments with all proper due diligence done and onboard them on need basis.
• Prepare Quarterly vendor performance ratings in terms of Quality, Cost, & delivery, and communicate with vendors.
• Keep updating the approved vendor list based on the vendor ratings/performance of existing vendors and the addition of new vendors for the region.
• Act as a regional procurement business partner and ensure all the procurement-related coordination work is taken care.
