FE fundinfo is a global leader in investment fund data and technology. We are proud of our vast, diverse, and highly skilled team, who help to make our industry Better Connected and Better Informed. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Developer to join our team in Chennai.
Our Product and Engineering teams build and deploy software products for a wide range of financial market clients with a primary focus on the fund data value chain.
Product and Engineering is at the center of FE FundInfo and how it delivers investment fund data and advice to global clients. The infrastructure team is the foundation for technical and service delivery, ensuring services for both internal and external customers, ensuring fast, efficient and reliable services.
FE FundInfo is also engaged in the building of software tools, research centers, document production platforms and advanced analytical products for data vendors, institutions and financial advisers enabling them to retrieve and analyze data in forensic detail.
Your key responsibilities as a Senior Product Developer will be to:
• Responsible for designing, developing web-based applications and integrating with related backend systems
• Implement object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure a high standard of work through clean coding habits and code reviews.
• Assess technical debt and provide solutions and / or tools on how to address.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
To join us as a Senior Product Developer you will need the following experience and skills:
• You must have 6+ years of experience with latest .Net Frameworks, .Net Core & designing and developing applications using C#, ASP.Net MVC
• You must have 6+ years' experience in web technologies including JSON/XML, WebAPIs, RESTful APIs
• You must have 3+ years of experience in Azure based development and delivery & Git source control management
• You must have 3+ years of experience using Agile development processes (e.g. developing and estimating user stories, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, etc.)
• You must have 2+ years developing applications on Service Oriented Architecture
• You must be expert in understanding of asynchronous programming.
• You must be expert understanding of development & release tooling (i.e. Azure Devops/NuGet)
