Role: Sr. Product Development Engineer Location: Hinjewadi, Pune Working Days: Monday-Friday Working Hours: General Shifts Description: Seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in designing compressors or rotating machines, especially in refrigeration/air conditioning. Responsibilities include project engineering, developing new concepts, and ensuring project objectives. Strong skills in Structural/Thermal Engineering and theoretical calculations are required. Must coordinate with various teams, handle design calculations independently, verify design functionality, and ensure manufacturability. Proficiency in engineering tools like DFMEA, DOE, and project management is essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are a must. Responsibilities: • Complete project ownership and engineering proposals • Perform design calculations and verify manufacturability • Technology assessment and maturation • Develop and enhance calculators • Generate 3D models and detailed drawings • Advanced problem-solving using FEA, CFD • Conduct design reviews and coordinate with labs for testing • Ensure timely project delivery and high-quality outputs Added Advantages: • Experience in MATLAB, Mathcad, statistical data analysis, casting, sheet metal, and reliability engineering.
