Job Title: Senior Product Manager - Business Banking
Function: Retail Banking
Job Purpose:
The Senior Product Manager - Business Banking is responsible for monitoring the health and hygiene of our lending portfolio in Business Banking. This role drives effective portfolio engagement to increase deepening and wallet share. The person must maintain the quality of our loan book.
This position works closely with Operations, Sales, Credit, BIU, and EWS teams to manage our portfolio. The role ensures timely closure of takeover compliance, Critical Security Perfection (CSP), and Insurance deferrals.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive portfolio engagement through a team of Portfolio Relationship Managers to increase deepening and wallet share.
Closely monitor covenants and deferrals, ensuring they are closed by Relationship Managers within the agreed timeframe.
Prepare various dashboards and Management Information Systems (MIS) for covenant and deferral monitoring.
Operate with a minimum level of supervision and make recommendations for course correction to the Product and Sales teams.
Improve portfolio performance and quality through regular monitoring and provide strategic support to EWS and BIU teams.
Monitor key performance metrics of EWS management to minimize potential losses or defaults in the portfolio.
Maintain continuous engagement with internal and external stakeholders to close critical deferrals such as security-related and insurance deferrals.
Requirements:
A graduate degree from any field is required. A minimum of 10 to 18 years of experience in BFSI and banking is necessary for this role
