Own your assigned products complete life cycles
Be responsible for product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, pricing plans, and more
Lead and align cross functional teams as product line owner

Work with technical product literature and training to support Sales, Customer Care, Service, and Customers
Performs in-depth market research studies of competitive environment within assigned product line segments.
Uses market research results to develop objectives and priorities for portfolio optimization and new product development
Develops product definitions to guide the new product development process.
Formulates annual product plan designed to increase sales volume and profitability.
Plans and implements creative marketing programs to promote sales and profitability of the assigned product line.
Monitors and analyzes market trends, project activity and prepares sales forecasts for use in the planning of manufacturing operations and for controlling inventories.
Develops pricing strategy and guidelines for the assigned product line.
Develops product promotion objectives and leads the development of the advertising, catalog and marketing promotion plans
Conducts product training for sales representatives and distributors.
Provides technical assistance for sales representatives and distributors and subsidiaries.
Participates in the product line S&OP field report process.
Participates actively in the Total Quality process including project team involvement, problem solving, and recommendation of solutions to enhance and improved quality of department and/or company-wide business initiatives.
Work to align internal stake holders across the organization to maximize utlizaiton of gears on Emerson solutions
Desired Educational Qualification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of product management experience in industrial equipment or equivalent industry or gears
• Experience working in a matrixed organization
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
previous work history of market analysis, product roadmap development, product life-cycle management, product commercialization
