About the role:
We are seeking an experienced product owner to lead the charge on this mission. The ideal candidate will have big ideas and strategies that foster an environment of collaboration and creativity. This role is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and real-world experience distilling business value and goals into roadmaps and refined product backlogs. Most importantly, you will be integral to helping us build better products that people love to use.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Define product roadmaps based on long-term vision and strategy and supported by customer research
• Crisply frame hotly debated and high-stakes decisions for senior leadership. Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Rapidly iterate based on behavioural measurements, customer feedback, and other data sources to ensure we are building the right features over time
• Drive product launches including working with marketing and operations teams
• Address product-related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analyses to stay on track toward business deliverable commitments
• Create key objectives and results, strategies, and use the data for the product to make business decisions
• Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
• Collaborate with partners during the visioning and concept development of a product
• Value, develop cases and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features, so they are clearly understood by the development teams
• Research and analyse the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• 5+ years experience in product development and must have managed at least 2 products end to end
• In-depth knowledge of agile process and principles
• Understanding of business value around feature/functions
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to effectively manage conflicting stakeholder needs
• Masters's degree is a plus
• Proficiency with applicable work management technology and tools
