Job Description
We are looking for a developer with experience in Java who is interested in building services & libraries to create a framework for building microservices. You will be part of a mature, cross-functional team that is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of services, which includes design, development, testing, security and deployment of services & back-end components. As a member of an agile team, we are looking for vocal individuals to collaborate and help build the best practices for the development team.
The project is focused on the delivery of a micro-service architecture for services within the domain of automated content enrichment with a service architecture that utilizes NLP, Semantic Web, and 3rd party technologies in its delivery. Joining the team would offer the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies in the domain of content processing and semantic web, utilize & learn AWS technologies & Kubernetes, and participate in a collaborative, flat team structure.
Since Wolters Kluwer is a global company based in the Netherlands, there are often opportunities for skilled employees to relocate to the home office.
Required Qualifications

• Has development experience (3+ years) using restful services and reusable libraries
• Has extensive experience with Spring eco system such as spring-boot, spring-core
• Has experience with unit testing
• Has experience with Maven
• Has experience with Docker
• Interest in learning Python
• Good communication skills in English - verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications, but not required

• Experience with Python is a strong plus
• Experience with DevOps process (e.g. AWS, Jenkins, CloudFormation/Terraform) would be preferable
• Experience with Redis, Elasticsearch is preferable
• Some experience with Agile and/or scrum methodology would be preferable
• Experience with Cloud technologies, and/or Kubernetes is preferable
• Experience with NLP and/or Language Recognition tools such as Antlr/Jflex is preferable
• Is interested in collaboration and optimizing the team's process
• Is flexible and balanced, ready to constant changes and innovation
