Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and have ability to understand complex information
• Design and develop highly optimized and reliable complex logic with SQL stored
• Proficient in SQL Server 2014/2017 database concepts (Azure SQL Server)
• Should be able to design and develop reports with the help of RDL (Report definition language)
• Should have experience working with paginated reports
• Hands on experience in BI Reporting solutions (recommended – Microsoft Power BI)
• Should be able to work with Power BI configurations
• Experience with design patterns, especially cloud resiliency patterns.
• Improve data governance and operational excellence.
• Develop data expertise and take ownership of data quality for the newly developed code.
• Adhere to company coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and create technical solution document.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedure development and database optimization.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience of Experience with MS BI stack (Power BI/ SSRS & SSIS /SSAS)
Minimum 3+ years’ experience of relational and dimensional data modelling with SQL.
Experience in code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimizations
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure Databricks (Azure data factory, Azure data lake)
Experience of relational and dimensional data modelling with data warehouse.
Experience in building data pipelines for structured and un-structured data.
Experience in Scala, Spark.
Additional Qualifications
• Experience with working with business stakeholders, requirements & use case analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Experience with tax and accounting domain a plus.
• Azure Data Engineer certification a plus
