Job Description
Senior Product Software Engineers are expert in their area. They work closely with the architect and team lead to implement new features, remove technical debt, and implement (and propose) best practices. They are highly productive/efficient and a critical, reliable team member with large expertise. They are aware of latest developments regarding coding language, infrastructure as code, automated tests, continuous development, etc.
They communicate difficult concepts and influence others to adopt a different point of view.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in mapping, reviewing, and analyzing product system and functional requirements.
Support ongoing product upgrades and maintenance.
Plan, coordinate and execute the projects on timely manner with quality work.
Enhancement of new requirements and customization of the products.
Process design for the business scenarios and document them for future reference
Implementation of short-term solution to handle blocking defects and help with patch software release.
Design and implement the product subsystems with system requirements as per requirements.
Work closely with engineering in database schema design, data models, data organization and SQL optimization strategies for scalability.
Work closely with, Product Owners, Architects, QA Specialists, other stakeholders and colleagues to implement new features, remove technical debt, maintain/improve quality, operate the company’s Software Development Lifecycle, and propose and implement best practices
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities / Education
• 5+ years of strong technology experience in C# with minimum 3 years of relevant work experience working with SQL development
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Efficient communication skills
• Good knowledge of various product development.
• Proven experience working with com plex monolithic applications and converting them into microservice-based systems.
• In-depth understanding of .Net tech stack
• Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented
• Ability to work on cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Strong experience writing TDD driven development.
SQL Skills:
• Strong experience with SQL Server, including T-SQL & Transaction management
• Knowledge of database design, normalization, and indexing
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization
• Knowledge of cloud based DB solutions.
