Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Production Chemist to supervise solid dosage manufacturing operations including tablets, capsules, and powders. The role focuses on ensuring efficient batch execution, regulatory compliance, manpower supervision, and adherence to GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise manufacturing processes including granulation, blending, compression, coating, and encapsulation.
Ensure production activities are carried out as per BMR/BPR and approved SOPs.
Monitor in-process controls and ensure batch quality compliance.
Coordinate with QA and QC for timely sampling, testing, and batch clearance.
Ensure adherence to GMP, safety, and hygiene standards within production areas.
Plan and supervise manpower allocation and shift operations.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma mandatory).
4–5 years of experience in solid dosage pharmaceutical production.
Strong understanding of tablet and capsule manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance requirements.
Leadership and team management capabilities.
Problem-solving and operational planning skills.
