2 Year PQE accountant with a recognised professional body (eg ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA)
Experience in a project based finance team within the construction, infrastructure or similar industry
Strong communication skills

Senior Project Accountant is responsible for maintaining and ensuring integrity of ledgers and control environment for the project, whilst building close working relationships with the commercial and delivery teams.
Production of monthly and ad-hoc reporting requirements including rolling forecasts, cash-flows, balance sheet reconciliations other reporting requirements.
Understand the commercial contracts in use in order to challenge the commercial position ensuring reporting represents a fair and accurate reflection on contract performance
Work closely with the Senior Management to improve project reporting and reduce commercial risk.
Ensure accurate and timely billing of costs to the client including subsequent management and collection of aged debts.
Ensure cash forecasts are robustly prepared and accurately reported.
Work with commercial teams to minimise the WIP position and achieve cash collection targets
Provide governance around the project delegated authority process to ensure compliance at all times and provision of controls to eliminate non-conforming authorisations, purchases and retrospective purchase orders.
Oversee production of staff utilisation forecasts to reduce non-productivity and provide an accurate forecast of staff recoverability
Expenses management covering processing and compliance to company policies
