Primary objective
The Senior Project Administrator ensures the team’s accurate, timely and comprehensive delivery of contract and
procurement advice and administrative support to management, project officers, clients and contractors across Capital
Works, Minor Works and Repairs and Maintenance programs.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide accurate, timely and comprehensive advice and administrative support in accordance with proper policies and
procedures throughout all phases of the project cycle.
2. Constructively supervise lead and mentor the Project Administration team to reach a high level of competence and
capability in the pro-active performance of their role.
3. Liaise, advise, and report to management, project officers, clients, and contractors in regard to non-technical, non-
contractual queries and project information.
4. Responsible for the establishment, management, and maintenance of project records within a mainframe environment.
5. Monitor cash flows and monthly reports on projects and conduct regular audits across all programs.
6. Undertake more complex projects, tasks and provide advice relating to National Public Works Committee, Consultant
Commissions, Minor Works, and Period Contracts.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Experience in supervising a team, fostering a positive and pro-active learning, and working environment.
2. Demonstrated interpersonal skills including initiative, leadership, and conflict resolution.
3. Manage multiple tasks within strict timeframes, solve problems and undertake data analysis.
4. Knowledge and experience in contract administration, procurement procedures and project administration.
5. Well-developed written and oral communication and experience in providing an efficient service to internal and
external clients in a commercial environment.
6. Demonstrated ability in the use of a personal computer.
Desirable
1. Sound working knowledge of the Asset Information System.
2. Knowledge of Works Programming procedures.
