Job Description
Provide essential support in project closeout, document control, risk mitigation,
budgeting, safety management, and scheduling. Apply the comprehensive understanding of
engineering processes and project management principles, with a particular focus on document
control, budget management to ensure timely execution of the project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Take ownership of the document control process, ensuring the maintenance and
distribution of current contract documents in compliance with company standards.
• Understand and mitigate risks associated with the management of contract documents.
• Actively participate in trade partner and daily project huddles, as well as owner meetings.
• Be accountable for assigned tasks and issues, providing updates and resolutions in a
timely manner.
• Develop and implement the project closeout process, ensuring that all data is gathered,
compiled, and assembled for turnover to the client.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure timely and accurate documentation for
project closeout.
• Assist in the proper setup of project budgets, including approval and audit flows.
• Review proposals for assigned trade partners, ensuring accuracy in scope and
compliance with budgetary requirements.
• Assist with the payment application process, including set-up, draw management, and
the management of the Checks Held Report.
• Develop Requests for Information (RFI) and review submittals for accuracy.
• Propose solutions to RFIs before sending them to the Design team.
• Manage the engineering system for assigned trades, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or
a related field. OR Masters degree of Construction Management
• 8+ years of experience in field/Project control. International experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Pro-core/ACC/Aconex and SAP is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
