The Delivery Practice is a team that works across all areas of delivery, including Business Analysis, Change Management, and Project Management. These areas form communities within the Practice that support initiatives across ASB, helping us work in a modern way, and cultivating happy customer experiences through change and transformation.

Mo te tūranga | About the Role:

Due to a variety of bank wide strategic initiatives, we have multiple vacancies for Senior Project Managers with a focus on either Data or Open Banking.

You will have the opportunity to work across projects such as new product implementation and enhancements, compliance and regulatory change, as well as system and process business transformation.

Your ability to tackle complexity, ambiguity and manage senior stakeholders to help plan and implement the project, while identifying and deploying resources will enable a great experience and delivery of a successful project.

As part of the Delivery Practice community, you'll support best practice for how we should be working, and lift capability through coaching and mentoring upcoming Project Managers.

Mōu |About you:

Coming from a solid project management background, in either business process, or technology, you have proven capabilities in the areas of planning an defining, managing the full project management lifecycle, monitoring project delivery and its quality, reporting and relentless care over what we're trying to achieve and helping us get there.

Your mind-set will be a mix of growth, caring, and strategy that will help you build great relationships with a variety of people, coach people growing in project management, support your peers, spot challenges, unpick roadblocks and able decision making.

As a starter for success, we are looking for some of the following skills and experience:

Five-plus years' experience in project management and project delivery, ideally within an enterprise or financial services environment

Skills in modern project management methodology, covering things like people process, technology and delivery frameworks in an agile way

Experience reporting and courage communicating project process, risks, issues and status to a wide audience including C-suite executives

Relevant training and / or certification in project management
