• Senior Development Manger to Plan, design applications and oversee projects to ensure that right architecture is implemented.
• Work towards Improving the system architecture by tracking emerging technologies, tool-stacks.
• Develop technical strategy, Define Technical Standards, tools and techniques.
• Reduce time to market by embracing automation Devops / CICD, SRE by design.
• Recommendations to strategic plans, actions and reviews; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Help to solve technical problems when they arise.
• Coaching, Mentoring and developing our engineers, leverage the Engineering Career Path, play a leading role in supporting hiring new engineers.
• Communicate technology strategy, architecture, system requirements to software development teams.
• Contribute to the cloud adoption journey.
• Conduct research from time to time to ascertain those third-party solutions that are most appropriate and suggest ways of integrating them.
• Keeping a constant check on the quality and effectiveness of the code so that at no point there is a deviation from the bank s standard.
• Monitor the technical competencies of the bank by looking for new technology and techniques.
Our Ideal Candidate
• Bachelor s Degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
• 10 - 18 years of experience in Architecting, Designing, Development of the applications / product in the Banking domain.
• Proven experience as Lead engineer, and ability to conduct technology analysis, research, code-reviews, guidance to developers.
• Deep knowledge of current technological trends, including cloud native applications, hands-on experience on RDBMS, In-memory computing tools, ETL tools, Vendor products, Cloud Computing, Data engineering patterns involving data virtualization using data mesh patterns.
• Experience in Technologies such as IBM data stage, Talend, PL / SQL, Data services, Oracle, ReactJS, Hadoop, Spark / Scala, Haskell (other FP languages) is desirable.
• Experience in building enterprise platforms within Financial Services, with experience in Finance, Risk, Balance Sheet mgmt or Liquidity systems is desirable.
• Experience in 3rd party platforms like Moody s analytics, SAP is desirable, as also AWS, Azure cloud experience.
• Good communication skills, aptitude for problem solving, leadership & organizational skills.
