Responsibilities:
As a Senior PR Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving client accounts, overseeing the planning, execution, tracking, and monitoring of PR strategies and tactics. Your responsibilities will include:
• Crafting and editing various Public Relations documents, such as press releases, client servicing materials, business writing, feature articles, proposals, and pitch letters.
• Cultivating and nurturing relationships with journalists, editors, industry key opinion leaders, and influencers to secure media coverage and valuable opportunities.
• Developing tailored PR strategies for clients, taking into account their goals and budgets.
• Providing regular reports, updates, and quarterly reviews to clients and management.
• Maintaining databases and coordinating all Public Relations activities efficiently.
• Generating and pitching captivating brand stories across multiple platforms to enhance engagement and increase the company's presence.
• Assisting with crisis communication as needed.
• Identifying opportunities for sponsorships and advertising collaborations.
• Collaborating with a team of PR professionals to accomplish collective goals and objectives.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and offering insightful recommendations to clients and management.
• Demonstrating expertise and experience in the media universe, particularly in the technology, start-ups, and business sectors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a PR agency setting.
• Proven track record of successfully executing PR strategies and securing media coverage.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and edit compelling PR materials.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to foster connections with journalists, editors, influencers, and industry key opinion leaders.
• Experience in developing and implementing PR strategies while considering goals and budgets.
• Proficiency in maintaining databases and coordinating PR activities efficiently.
• Familiarity with crisis communication and the ability to assist during PR crises.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the technology, start-ups, and business sectors.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of client accounts, and deliver results.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team of PR professionals.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and a genuine passion for staying informed about PR best practices.
