Python Senior Developer
Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Python developers to join our APAC site in Goa . At Optel, developers don't just write code! They participate in all phases of development, from design to implementation, offering innovative solutions to software challenges.
Location : Goa ( OPTEL Group , Verna Industrial Estate, South Goa )
Relevant Years of Experience : 10+ Years
Professional Qualification : Bachelor's degree or relevant studies in computer science
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain and improve high level industrial and web applications
• Create and maintain automated tests and unit tests
• Perform modeling on data sets
• Ensure the proper functioning of the deployment of the solution
• Propose new tools and working methods to continuously improve
• Show a certain interest in DevOps mindset
• Participate in team activities and make your contribution!
Required Skills
• Excellent knowledge of Python 3 with a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
• Knowledge of TDD and test automation tools
• Experience in pipeline automation (CI / CD) and DevOps (Gitlab, Jenkins, Pulumi, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and MSSQL or other relational database and SQL;
• Knowledge of application hosting and deployment in the cloud (Azure, GCP or AWS);
• Knowledge of Django and Pytest
• Design patterns
• Good Communication
• Strong Problem Solving Skills
• Up to date with emerging technologies and willing to learn
