JOB SUMMARY
The Senior QA will automate the web, mobile and APIs for the new products. The Senior QA must drive the automation project end to end for agile projects, also he should understand our clients’ needs and identify how they fit within the framework.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Currently working in automation projects and has experience (6-+ years) in working on complex automation projects.
2. Should have experience on large, complex, enterprise-level projects hosted on Azure DevOps platform.
3. Develop End to End framework for automating web / native / hybrid mobile apps using Selenium, C#, nUnit, Appium and cloud-based tools like Browser stack for Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework (C#), MVC, MAUI, Blazor) using MS Visual Studio and SQL Server
4. Develop End to End framework for automating Rest and Soap APIs using suitable framework (Rest Assured)
5. Highlight project risks and issues, deviations from plans with a focus on delivery planning.
6. Mentor and guide rest of the team members as required.
7. Develop automation scripts for projects following agile sprints and have continuous testing in place.
8. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to automation framework and modify scripts based on the Root Cause Analysis
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
1. Must Have - Hands on experience in Selenium, C#, nUnit, Appium, BDD using Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Git, CI tool Azure Devops, cloud-based device automation using cloud-based tools Browser stack, minimum completed 1 end to end projects from scratch using MS Visual Studio.
2. Must Have - Hands on experience in API automation for Rest or Soap using Rest Assured framework or any other appropriate tool (Postman / Karate / SoapUI) minimum completed 1 end to end projects from scratch.
3. Must Have - Minimum 6-+ years of experience in IT industry with relevant automation experience of around 3+ years in automation testing of web / mobile / API /data base related projects.
4. Strong QA background to write, review test cases / test scripts with given requirements.
5. Good knowledge on automation concepts and practical challenges.
6. Good to Have - Demonstrated decision-making skills for tools to use in a project, automation framework setup, research on tools and techniques based on project needs.
7. Developing robust automation test cases to evaluate repeatable processes.
8. Demonstrated technical prowess including solving complex problems, automation scripting skills (/ .Net), and familiarity/understanding of systems architecture.
+. Good to Have - Certifications related to Testing, Agile, automation is an added advantage (e.g. CSTE, CSTM, ISTQB, CSM, SafeAgile)
10. Good to Have – Exposure and experience of latest AI tools used in automation of web / mobile / API applications.
11. Good understanding of the product development cycle
12. Effective communication skills
13. Ability to work in both a team setting and as an individual.
14. Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
15. Skilled in working well under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
