Manager/Sr Manager QA(Core Banking)
Experience - 12+yrs
Location - Mumbai
Experience & Qualification:
· 10-15 years of experience in IT Product and Services stream
· Strong and proven hands-on experience in all STLC phases.
· Proven experience in Core Banking System, in Quality Engineering and Platform Testing
· Exposure to Security Testing would be a value add.
· Experience in Technical Testing in platform evaluation.
· 8 to 10 years of experience in working on large scale enterprise level application Testing as full stake QA (UI, Services and Database)
· Exposure to IT infrastructure and DevOps services and testing impact.
· Multiple projects experience in functional and non-functional testing.
· Exposure to UI/UX, compatibility, reliability, industry compliance, performance, automation (CICD), data, Mobile testing principals and strategies.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
· Provide leadership and direction to testing teams and guide them through all testing phases and levels.
· Partner with Organization's Leadership on overall test approach, tasks, and assignments for a project.
· Provide overall QA effort estimate for project(s)
· Review and analyse estimates provided by Managers and Leads for coverage and resource needs.
· Develop overall test strategy and approach for project (including all testing types―system, UAT, performance, end-to-end, etc.) with input from Test Leads and Business Analysts.
· Develop Master Test Plan and obtain appropriate approvals.
· Assess and communicate resource needs to CoE Leads through Project Managers at BU level.
· Manage resource allocations for project(s).
· Ensure appropriate project meetings are scheduled (e.g., test lead, status, etc.)
· Serve as escalation point for issues reported by Engineering Managers and Leads
· Coach and provide direction to QA team.
· Escalate issues/concerns with assigned testing resources to CoE Leads.
· Coordinate testing and environment needs with Environment Manager.
· Ensure that award and recognition are given to keep team members motivated.
Annual appraisals and quarterly reviews are conducted, and feedback is provided to CoE leads
