The React Native Developer will be based from any of our UK offices in a hybrid working pattern.
The Senior React Native Developer will support the front end development for digital products, with a proven track record for writing clean, tested and maintained code. Working in a cross functional team of experts, the Senior Developer will be eager to learn and use the latest technologies while delivering high standards of code with the end-user in mind.
As a Senior React Native Developer you’ll be expected to:
• Design, develop and maintain high-quality applications using React Native for iOS, Android and web.
• Implement features that provide seamless user experiences while maintaining the highest standards of security and performance.
• Work within a test strategy to ensure seamless integration with backend services and API’s.
• Establish development practices in React Native, contributing to the efficient workflows and guiding the team on best practices.
• Address complex project issues and provide innovative solutions aligned with project and software goals.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure understanding and alignment on priorities.
• Work within a cross functional team of design, product and delivery to define best-in-class solutions.
• Use open-source frameworks to enhance the development and deployment processes.
• Apply principals from Domain Driven Design (DDD) to create a well-structured, scalable application.
• Prioritise accessibility and user experience in all design and development tasks.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong React Native skills with demonstrable experience delivering solutions across mobile and web.
• Strong experience using Expo framework and Expo services.
• Knowledge and experience with Component libraries, including but not limited to Tamagui, NativeWind, StyleX, Storybook and others
• Commercial experience with TypeScript, Javascript and related front-end technologies.
• Experience with Restful APIs and integration.
• Proactive individual who actively seeks to expand knowledge and keep up with industry trends.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand complex requirements and offer comprehensive solutions.
