About the role
As a Senior Revenue and Receivables Officer, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of revenue processes across key business streams. You’ll be a subject matter expert in billing, subsidies and receivables, providing guidance to the team and stepping in for senior leaders when required.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a complex, regulated environment, thrives on detail, and values collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Revenue and Receivables Officers across billing, subsidies and grants
Process client billing, refunds and direct debits in line with schedules and compliance requirements
Manage monthly subsidy claims, accruals and reconciliations in accordance with Aged Care rules and regulations
Process transactions relating to Refundable Accommodation Deposits and Ingoing Contributions
Liaise with Services Australia and internal stakeholders to follow up unpaid subsidies
Prepare and support month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
Contribute to interim and year-end audit processes
Support User Acceptance Testing for system upgrades and enhancements
Participate in projects to standardise processes and reduce non-standard transactions
Ensure all activities align with internal policies, WH&S standards, and quality expectations
About you
You’re a confident and capable finance professional who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. You take ownership of your work, support others to succeed, and navigate complex environments with professionalism and care.
You will bring:
A bachelor qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience
4+ years’ experience in revenue, receivables or a related finance function
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
Proven ability to manage high-volume, complex transactions
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in a shared services or highly regulated environment
Highly regarded:
Knowledge of Aged Care funding and reporting requirements
Experience working with government departments or compliance-driven frameworks
