Technical Services Team:
We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer - Geotechnical to join our Technical Services team at Waihi. As part of this role, you will be responsible for completing geotechnical mapping and core logging for drilling programs, implementing and monitoring geotechnical instrumentation, and managing geotechnical QA/QC and monitoring databases.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
Complete geotechnical mapping and logging for specific drilling programs
Implement and monitor geotechnical instrumentation
Manage geotechnical QA/QC and monitoring databases
Undertake regular geotechnical inspections of underground infrastructure
Assist with review and implementation of site geotechnical management systems
What You Will Need:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a mining or underground environment
Relevant tertiary qualification in Geomechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, or Engineering Geology
Exposure to geotechnical design work and rock mass classification systems
