Location: JLC Contracting Pt Ltd, Kinross, Western Australia
Position: Full time – permanent
Salary range $100,000 - $120,000 + superannuation

We are seeking a qualified and highly experienced Roofing Plumber to lead, perform a range of Installations, maintaining and repairs flashings, metallic roof and wall claddings and rainwater products to current Australian Standards & HB 39 requirements. Registration or licensing is required.
Key responsibilities
Read and interpret plans, technical drawings and specifications to set out, measure and install roofing and drainage systems, including calculating correct falls, pitches and sizes for effective drainage.
Install, maintain and repair metal roof and wall claddings, gutters, downpipes, flashings, box gutters, fascias, rain heads and associated rainwater systems.
Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
Requirements
Skills and experience
Trade-qualified Roof Plumber (Cert III or equivalent) with substantial post-trade experience,
ideally in senior or leading hand capacity.
Demonstrated experience delivering metal roofing and rainwater systems on commercial, industrial and/or complex residential projects, including high-risk or multi-storey sites.
Strong technical knowledge of metal roofing systems, flashings, drainage design, waterproofing principles and relevant Australian Standards for roof plumbing.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coordinate crews, mentor apprentices and other tradesmen and labourers as required. Drive a positive safety and quality culture on site.
Solid understanding of OHSEQ requirements for construction, including working at heights and use of fall protection, EWP and other high-risk plant.
Ability to troubleshoot roofing issues, propose practical solutions and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and tickets
Certificate III in Roof Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification).
Construction White Card.
Working at Heights ticket; EWP / High Risk Work Licence preferred, depending on typical site requirements.
Current manual driver’s licence is a must.

HR license
Riggers ticket
Basic and or intermediate scaffold tickets
