Job Description
Responsible for leading and / or being part of a team that designs and develops modern Web / Mobile Application using Ruby.
What you will do
Developing new and maintaining existing features using Ruby or Elixir
Building reusable components and libraries
Translating designs into high-quality code
Writing unit tests for your code
As you grow, mentoring other developers
The experience you should have
Strong proficiency in Ruby and object-oriented concepts
Follow best practices like TDD, single responsibility principle, etc.
Familiarity building and consuming RESTful APIs
Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms
Familiarity with modern build pipelines and tools
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with code versioning in Git
Front-end skills in React.js or Backbone.js will be a plus
Back-end skills in either .Net or Java will be a plus
Degree in Computer Science (Bachelor s or Master s) or equivalent experience
Strong skills with JQuery, XML,JSON, HTML5, CSS3, API Development, DOM
Experience with templating languages and backend Java also a plus
Full understanding of the development lifecycle
Experience of using GitHub as a source code management
Was part of the team who at least developed and deployed multiple application end to end
Prior exposure to Portal technologies and want to learn these new Internet Technologies
Excellent communication skills
Has the ability to advise the customer when it comes to select the best Technology to implement
Experience with cross browser compatibility issues is a nice to have
Company is open to negotiate on salary expectations, Notice period should not be exceed one month
Ready for relocate.at Jaipur.
