Position:
Technical Sales & Marketing Manager (Online Condition Monitoring)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient sales professional to spearhead business expansion in the industrial and utility domains.
The role focuses on promoting online condition monitoring solutions, managing strategic accounts, and exploring new market opportunities to drive sustained growth.
Primary Responsibilities:
Formulate and execute sales strategies for condition monitoring systems across power and industrial sectors.
Interact with customers to understand their technical requirements and deliver tailored engineering solutions for assets such as transformers, motors, switchgear, generators, and substations.
Advocate and market fiber-optic–based monitoring systems for diverse applications including perimeter security, power cable monitoring, pipelines, bridges, conveyors, and railway tracks.
Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and tender/proposal submissions.
Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate solution design and smooth implementation.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Negotiate and finalize commercial terms, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and technological innovations relevant to the business.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to enhance brand visibility and develop new business prospects.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering, or M.Sc. in Physics (Master's degree preferred).
5–7 years of proven experience in technical or solution-based sales within the power, utilities, or industrial automation sectors.
Sound understanding of high-voltage electrical systems—transformers, circuit breakers, substations, and related assets.
Demonstrated expertise in developing technical proposals, cost estimations, and customer presentations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple assignments independently.
Flexibility to travel extensively as per business needs.
Preferred Attributes:
Knowledge of local industry regulations and compliance requirements in the energy sector.
Proficiency in multiple languages (English, Hindi, and Bengali preferred).
