Job Description
Must Have Skills:
SAS +.4 Server Installation, Configuration and Administration (Standalone and Clustered setup)
Possess in depth knowledge of SAS Foundation +.4, SAS Metadata BI Server +.4,Platform LSF Suite.
Experience in administration of SAS Architecture / SAS Clustered architecture in multi-tenant environment
Experience with configuring Queues/Policies in SAS environment, usage tracking, monitoring, alerts notification and load balancing
Experience in security and workspace administration in SAS Management Consol
Application of Hotfixes, Maintenance Release, and License Renewal as required
Candidate needs to have experience in Unix/Linux platform, includes Unix scripting and job scheduling.
SAS Clients: SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, Base SAS, SAS Model Manager, Microsoft Add-in Client Installation /Troubleshooting
Ability to troubleshoot SAS code for better performance.
Platform Administrator also ensures the platform is positioned for compliance with IT policies and standards and agreed upon service levels.
3-5 years SAS background (including configuration, testing, debugging)
Good to have Skills:
Cross Platform Migration Experience of SAS Server from Windows/UNIX to Linux
Added advantage if experience in SAS administration for High Availability within GRID environment – including Metadata, Mid-Tier Servers, and Grid Control Servers
SAS/Access Interface to Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Hadoop etc
SAS Grid, SAS SPDS, SAS Schedule Manager and SAS Visual Analytics LASR Server management is a plus
Added advantage if 2+ years’ experience working with any Shell/Perl scripts
