Dorset - Senior Software Engineer - £55k-£65k - Acoustics

Platform Recruitment has partnered with an innovator of products who provide for the Oil and Gas industry. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team based in Dorset. You will report to the Engineering Manager, and be responsible for signal processing algorithm development across multiple projects.

Main Duties

• Developing advanced signal processing techniques for novel acoustic measurements

• Analysing acoustic signals from both field and lab tests

• Conducting lab-based acoustic testing

• Producing and documenting new intellectual property

Key Experience Required

• Signal processing

• Acoustics

• Algorithm development

• Any knowledge of sonics, sonar, MATLAB, Python or C+

• is beneficial

Salary/Location:

• The salary for this position is £55k-£65k, depending on experience

• This role is full-time, based in Dorset, with opportunity for 2 or more days of remote working per week
