Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage complex construction projects in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IN . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and project management principles. You will lead a team of engineers and site personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Supervise on-site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions. Manage and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients. Review architectural and engineering drawings and specifications, providing technical expertise. Resolve any technical or logistical problems that may arise during the construction phase. Manage project documentation, including permits, licenses, and inspection records. Foster a collaborative and efficient working relationship with all project team members and stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects. In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD software. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Valid relevant professional certifications are highly desirable. Experience with large-scale infrastructure or commercial building projects is preferred. Familiarity with local building regulations and environmental standards in Gujarat.
