Job Summary: This position is a role within the software development organization. The candidate will be working on our varied products and services.
• Responsibilities & Duties: · Hands-on developer, applying industry standards for code health, security, scalability, and robustness · Provide maintenance and support of the service.· Work with multiple teams (Product management, QA, Quant services), · Own the product end-to-end. Technical Skills: · Strong experience with Java · Experience working with MongoDB. · Experience working in an Agile environment· Extensive experience with Data Structures and Algorithms, Collections, Design Patterns, Multi-Threading Concurrency and System Design is required· Strong in Docker, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Spring Boot, Soap and Rest· Strong experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, NodeJS· Understanding of Oauth2, OpenID, SAML· Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory Service· Demonstrable prior experience owning the design, implementation, and maintenance of a significant technical platform.· Ability to work together with development and product teams across the company· Self-motivated and a has strong quality mindset and commitment to proper Software Engineering· Strong work ethic with ability to work independently, prioritize & manage work to meet critical timelines in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Personal Skills: · Excellent written communication skills, particularly focused on technical design· Big-picture strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute day-to-day· Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences· Excellent interpersonal skills required to interact with clients, colleagues, and all management levels· Ability to handle stressful situations, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and perform within tight time constraints is crucial Qualifications: · Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline· 5+ years of experience working on and shipping complex applications as part of a team; preferably with experience as a successful technical lead
