About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on CR/FR/SR provided by the client, performance tuning of existing applications, designing and developing new features as per business need, analyzing requirements and providing design and estimate to customers, developing or enhancing code, and mentoring team members.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of overall experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in C and C++ programming.
• Good understanding of data structures and pointers.
• Good working knowledge of Unix, Linux, and Shell scripting.
• Experience in GDB, other debugging tools, and techniques.
• Capability to independently analyze existing faults in the code, design, and implement solutions.
• Knowledge of socket programming and multi-threading.
• Familiarity with CVS and other version control software.
• Experience in handling XML messaging.
• Knowledge of any message queuing and/or core Java will be a plus.
• Knowledge of Tandem/HP NonStop, IBM MQ, Java J2EE is desirable.
• Knowledge of automation for build, deployment, and unit testing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
