About the opportunity
Reporting to the Development Manager, the Software Developer Sr is responsible for designing and implementing new products and features as well completing and augmenting existing solutions and services.

The Developer will collaborate with fellow Developers, QA Analysts, Test Engineers, Technical Product Managers and Technical Writers throughout the development process to ensure the product is functionally complete and well-tested. Drive the design and implementation of highly scalable and available innovative solutions
You will be involved in conducting and participating in design and code reviews, unit, feature, and regression testing, and will collaborate with other software development teams and other departments on developing application solutions

Skills and experience we value
Bachelors or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
Very strong object-oriented design and programming skills using C#, .NET, .NET Core with minimum 3 – 5 years experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in building and deployment of services utilizing leading public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Minimum 2-4 years working experience in an Agile Development environment
Hands on experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests and optimizing performance
Proficiency with SQL on modern RDBMs
Hands-on Experience with advanced programming constructs such as multi-threaded programming, event-driven architecture, messaging, microservices
Experience with modern technology (Angular, React, Node.js, GraphQL, etc.)
Experience with designing and implementing APIs
Experience in Docker, Kubernetes or other container-related technologies, and CI/CD automation is desirable
Knowledge of DevOps design patterns, processes, and best practices
Desirable – Kafka, Confluent Cloud (Managed Kafka), NoSQL DB, Elastic Search, Specflow, Git, gRPC, protobuf, NuGet packaging, MongoDB
Excellent communication and collaboration skills and effective at representing a team of professionals
Ability to learn new software languages, frameworks, and APIs quickly
Disciplined self-starter, capable of working independently or in close collaboration with a distributed (onshore, offshore) agile development team
Has a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of drive
Excellent analytical skills, Passion for solving hard problems, and knows how to have fun!
