Job Description
We are looking for an experienced engineering candidate who has good experience building and scaling services in a cloud environment, building CI/CD pipeline and implementing DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of design, development and Implementation of CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms in an ecosystem involving GitLab, Jenkins, Docker and Artifactory.
Computer Science or equivalent degree from one of the top universities
6+ years of successful experience on implementing CI/CD, Log aggregation/Monitoring/alerting for production system
Hands on experience on cloud platforms, Cloud Native and Container (Docker) based applications
Hands on experience with Automating the Build, Test and Deploy process in managing applications on Linux OS, Unix command line, shell scripting (bash, sh, ksh, tcsh).
Strong passion and interest in learning and working on new technology innovations
Ability to solve complex engineering problems and provide solution
Excellent communication skills
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging of DevOps applications & CICD pipelines. Provide technical leadership to other software developers.
Practice DevOps principles of continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), continuous testing (CT), continuous monitoring (CM).
Develop and maintain build scripts and tools that will enable build automation and improve the build infrastructure
Maintain build environments and build history, troubleshoot compile and build failures, and facilitate resolution
Design new and manage existing release branches; merge release branches; monitor, build, and deploy software release packages
Enable continuous and frequent integration of artefacts from different product teams with the product for which CI is being implemented
Collaborating within a project team comprised of talented employees with diverse and complementary skills.
Ability to work in an extremely fast paced and challenging, global environment
