Position: Senior Software Developer - C#/.NET/Azure
Location: Uster Technologies India, Coimbatore
Uster Technologies AG, Switzerland (www.uster.com) is the global leader for managing spinning mills with quality in mind. We provide a global cloud solution for spinning mills consisting of various cloud services. Together with your team you develop and provide specific cloud services to our customers in the textile world.
Job Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Team member, you:
• Implement server architecture for cloud services in a microservice environment.
• Develop well-functioning databases and maintain them.
• Write effective APIs and RESTful services.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Write technical documentation.
Job Requirements:
• Master’s degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a developer in an Agile team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to demonstrate clarity, structure, and confidence.
• C# Programming: Proficiency in C#, the primary language used in the .NET ecosystem, for server-side development.
• ASP.NET Core: Familiarity with ASP.NET Core, a cross-platform framework for building modern web applications with .NET.
• Web API Development: Building RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API for data exchange between the front-end and back-end.
• SQL DB: Design, implement and maintain DB schema.
• Entity Framework Core: Knowledge of Entity Framework Core for database access and management, including working with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Microsoft Azure: Familiarity with Azure services for cloud hosting, storage, and scaling web applications.
General Job requirements:
• Experience in industrial applications and eager to step into the textile domain.
• Comfortable to work in a global organization and collaborate with peers in distributed teams.
• Willingness to travel, as required.
• Open-mindedness, team spirit, and the ability to work collaboratively and under different cultures.
