The Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
The Role : Sr Software Engineer
The Team: This development team focuses on developing and delivering software applications at the core of the consolidated North American energy data accumulation platform. This team will work across several platforms (energy, land, subsurface, well & production) to bring outdated technologies and processes into modern stacks.

Responsibilities
• Work in the agile environment, attend and contribute to all scrum ceremonies (daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives)
• Be a team player by working well with others and championing discussion and the ability to do things differently
• Present work during sprint reviews to wider IT, Product, and Business audience
• Ensure best practices are followed and development activities stay on schedule
• Be a self-starter and willing to ask questions/for help when needed
• Implement CI/CD by integrating automation builds in development pipelines
Basic Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or a close related field
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Strong development experience in Angular, Java – 5-7 years
• Working experience on Python language is a plus
• Good knowledge of AWS Fargate, Lambda, Step Functions and RDS
• Basic knowledge of VPC, Subnet, Security Groups etc.
• Experience with Flask, Django etc. as a framework
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform/CFT
• Experience with TFS, Git and Visual Studio
• Ability to automate unit test cases
• Some knowledge of database structure with SQL Query, prepared statements
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle database structure
• General knowledge of Docker and Container services
• General knowledge of Rest APIs and API Specs
Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge and practical experience with Agile development
