Senior Software Developer
The Senior Software Developer focuses on developing multiple types and categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems software that provides a platform for running end user applications. While working independently with limited supervision, this job applies up-to-date information on the detailed technical design and development of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Conducts requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics.
• Uses programming, scripting, and/or database languages to write software code.
• Consults with systems engineers and architects on developing information technology (IT) standards for the business while facilitating the translation of client requirements into technical designs for large IT solutions.
• Models key business processes and critical paths while assessing the impact of technology on business processes.
• Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolves activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements
• Maintains records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.
• Reviews the work of lower level professionals.

Position Summary

TIAA India is looking for a Java Full Stack Developer, for development work based out of TIAA India office in Pune. The incumbent is expected to work alongside global peers and will be responsible to understanding the requirements and delivery full stack application and automations.
• Have strong experience (At least 2 Years) in Java Full Stack development.
• Has in depth knowledge on Java, Angular/React and Spring Boot.
• Sound knowledge and experience on DevOps/CICD Pipelines and tools like Openshift
• Good understanding of Micro-services development
• Understanding of database design (Oracle, MongoDB)
• Software Development experience technology like GraphQL, NoSQL, NodeJS.
• Good understanding of Cloud concepts (AWS)
• Sound knowledge of rapid application development framework and design patterns
• Understanding of Gradle, Jenkins, ElectricFlow, API Gateway
• Front end development experience React is a plus
• Knowledge on Kubernetes , Docker , Openshift platform is a plus
• Java & Cloud certifications is preferred (AWS solution architect or similar)

Functional Knowledge (Not limited to)
• Hands on with Java Full Stack Technologies
• Can understand the Infrastructure and Services requirements of Applications trying to move to Cloud and facilitate their onboarding
• End to End understanding of application life cycle and agile based development
• Been part of Cloud Adoption journey of an organization cloud platform
• Knowledge on AWS platform is preferred
• Strong development experience in Java with different frameworks like Spring Boot

• Should have worked in global teams
• Passionate about making a difference and continuously upgrading Technology Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce clear and concise information for targeted audiences across internal and external stakeholders
• Highly organized with excellent verbal, written and editing skills and strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications
• Required Education: Engineering or Post Graduation Degree
• Required Experience: 2-6 years of relevant development experience in Java Full Stack space
