Role: Senior Software Developer (MEAN)
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long Term
Work Hours: US Time
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)
On a day to day basis this senior software developer will work as part of a DevOps team to develop and maintain workflow-based systems to allow client to automate Network Function Virtualization activities.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in design discussions/scrum meetings
• Develop using MEAN stack on both front end and back-end
• Develop GUI using React (redux) and Angular
• Develop workflows based on requirements
• Unit test any developed code
• CI/CD Integration
• Document code design
• Create prototypes to validate design concepts so the team can get feedback from the client
• Support any production issues
Must Haves: (in priority order):
• 4+ years of experience in MEAN stack development for production systems
• 4+ years of experience in Functional Programming in Java Script (promises, await, async, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience in backend node JS (node 12+)
• 2+ years of experience with React (latest version 16+) (redux). Experience with Angular a big plus
• 2+ years of experience in MongoDB
• 2+ years of experience in Workflow Engines (e.g., Camunda, Pronghorn, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience with Azure Development
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible
• 2+ Experience with Automation platforms like Cucummer, cypress, Celenium etc.
• Experience in microservices
• Experience with MongoDB
• Experience with automation, robot scripting, automated unit testing (e.g. Mocha)
• Experience with Networking and Security
• Some Experience with Openstack/VMware (Network Function Virtualization)
• Experience with Cisco NSO is a plus
• Experience with Mobility networks is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker is a plus
• Self-driven, teamwork oriented, and good communication skills a must
• Ability to work in a small, agile team environment
