About the role:
The Senior Software Developer leads Azure‑based solution design and development, creating, maintaining, and optimising applications and integrations. Reporting to the Development Manager, the role partners with architects, project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver secure, high‑quality digital solutions.
As our Senior Software Developer, you'll also:
Lead technical delivery within assigned projects, guiding architecture, design, and implementation to ensure best‑practice development.
Evaluate complex requirements and design high‑quality applications using Azure cloud technologies and the Well‑Architected Framework.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and manage deployments through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Configure secure authentication/authorisation, including Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) integration, implement third‑party API integrations, and optimise DevOps tools, automation, and operational processes.
Skills and experience:
Strong Azure cloud‑native development expertise
Proven ability to lead technical delivery
Advanced skills in .NET, APIs, and integrations
Hands‑on experience integrating applications with Microsoft Entra ID, including OAuth2/OIDC, app registrations, service principals, and role‑based access controls
Effective stakeholder and cross‑team collaboration
