The Software Products for Member States Unit (SPMS) under the Information Technology Services (ITS) is responsible for developing a suite of innovative software deployed at close to a hundred Member States to operationalize UNODC's mandates in countering corruption, controlling illicit drugs, and fighting financial and organized crime.
Within delegated authority and in close cooperation with the Product Manager, SPMS, the Software Developer will be responsible for the Duties and Responsibilities mentioned in the section below.

• Develop, test and debug applications and web applications, web services using established standards for IT technologies, programming languages, and tools including Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET MVC, WPF, C#), MS SQL,
• Develop, test and debug web applications using technologies such as: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, ORM, SQL, Angular (12+) and other frameworks.
• Independently liaise with users to get/analyse requirements.
• Prepare technical and user documentation for deployed computer application systems, as well as training materials using UNODC standard tools: Visio and MS Office products.
• Support QA testing efforts, including manual and automated tests.
• Ensures data security and integrity.
• Perform any other work-related duties as required.
