Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. The ideal candidate should have a B.E. degree, a minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, and a strong proficiency in a variety of programming languages and technologies. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in (a) Windows: Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), Security Centre and PowerShell, (b) Linux: Linux Internals, and Bash scripting, (c) Programming: C/C++ and Python.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and design scalable and efficient software solutions.
· Develop high-quality software applications using Python, C/C++, PowerShell, Bash Shell, and other relevant languages.
· Implement and maintain software components that interact with the Windows WMI, Registry, and Security Events, as well as Linux internals.
· Write scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
· Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and mentor junior developers.
· Ensure the software meets quality standards, perform unit testing, and contribute to the overall software testing and QA efforts.
· Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues, proposing effective solutions.
· Collaborate with the team to continuously enhance software development processes and methodologies.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in software development, and share knowledge with the team.
· Utilize version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development and code management.
Knowledge Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E.) or a related field. (required)
· Proficiency in Python, C/C++, PowerShell, Bash Shell, and other relevant programming languages. (required)
· Particularly strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting, including experience with creating and executing complex scripts. (required)
· Strong understanding of Windows WMI, Registry, and Security Events, as well as Linux internals and their capabilities for accessing system information and performing management tasks. (required)
· Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose creative and effective solutions. (preferred)
· Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. (preferred)
· Self-motivated and able to work independently, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion. (preferred)
· Familiarity with software development best practices and agile methodologies. (preferred)
Work Experience Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality code.
· Experience with version control systems, particularly Git. (required)
· 1+ year experience in agent development for audit of endpoints. (preferred)
