Description: The Senior Software Developer & Operations is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong background in .Net development and experience in the automotive industry, specifically in quality control developments. The Senior Software Developer & Operations is also responsible for developing and executing a Development Operations (DevOps) strategy to ensure quality software deployments and overall application health and performance.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop software solutions using .Net
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems
· Ensure the smooth operation of our software systems
· Develop and execute a DevOps strategy to ensure quality software deployments and overall application health and performance
· Optimize relationships between the development, quality assurance, and IT operations teams
· Promote communication, integration, and collaboration for enhanced software development productivity
· Develop infrastructure to incorporate the latest technology best practices and improve operational performance
· Manage projects/processes, working independently with limited supervision
· Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
· Manage configuration, change, and release management processes
· Plan, coordinate, integrate, and execute global deployments
· Transition technical architecture to support containers, microservices, and DevOps transition
· Separate Quality, Testing, and MES functional architecture
· The transition from client-server to a centrally deployable and maintainable architecture.
Requirements:
· Strong background in .Net development
· Experience in the automotive industry, specifically in quality control developments
· Broad technical knowledge and experience across a variety of IT areas, including infrastructure, development, operations, and quality assurance
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Strong communication and collaboration skills
