The Bangalore R&D department is 15+ strong, consisting of Software Developers, QA Engineers and Technical Writers and operates as SCRUM teams following Agile methodology.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a software developer, you'd work on transforming our flagship MDM solutions across different product lines by developing new features and functions, thus making a direct impact to our customers. You’d have opportunities to work on many industry data standards like ETIM, BMECat, UNSPSC & GDSN for exchanging and maintaining master data and integrate our software with enterprise solutions across ERP, CRM, eCommerce and other ecosystems. You will work in small, cross-functional teams collaborating closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, developers & QA across the global R&D sections.
More specifically, you will:
• Analyse user requirements to define robust application designs.
• Develop Java & React based applications; creating front-end, server and database functionality.
• Resolve complex technical tasks writing secure, reliable, scalable and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with the team making sure deliverables are delivered on time with high quality.
• Implement and execute relevant Unit & Integration tests; debug and resolve technical problems that arise.
• Support in project estimation, planning and risk management activities.

• Solid experience in Java, Java-Swings & GWT.
• Advanced knowledge in web development using ReactJS, JavaScript ES5/6, HTML5 and CSS.
• Good practical understanding of restful APIs and object-oriented design patterns.
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
• Agile mindset and experience with Agile development (SCRUM/SAFe).
• Experience working with IntelliJ IDEA, Gradle, SVN, Jira, Git
• Experience with MDM is a definite advantage, as is experience with Pragmatic Marketing
