6+ years of experience in Spring Boot
5+ years of experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures
5+ years of experience in creating unit test using JUnit or Mockito
5+ years of experience with databases and code integrations such as Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL
5+ years of experience in implementing complex full stack solutions including digital and mobile systems, API, and Micro-Services in large enterprise organizations
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience
Experience in cloud native technologies, including AWS
Experience in payments/financial domain
Experience in PCF or related cloud platform or API Management
Experience in using quality and security scan tools such as Sonar, Fortify and Web Inspect
Experience in Integration Testing of APIs using Postman or JMeter

What does a successful Senior Software Development Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be part of our Core Acquiring Java back-end engineering group within Fiserv’s Merchant Solutions Tech business area, specifically Commerce Hub/Universal Commerce Business. You will join an organization responsible for mission critical platforms that support our payments acquiring business. We process over 350 million payment transactions per day with a peak throughput of over 8,000 transactions per second all while maintaining millisecond fast response time. All this is done for some of the largest merchants in the US. This fast-paced environment will require you to be a passionate critical problem solver who can balance platform stability and resiliency along with modern engineering practices and solutions.

• Act as hands-on technical leader
• Maintain technology delivery and meet delivery targets
• Drive modernization and migration of several real time applications to AWS that are low latency, high-volume APIs that run 24x7 supporting critical business processes
