JOB DUTIES:
• Works directly on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls.
• Works independently on complex systems or infrastructure components that may be used by one or more applications or systems.
• Works independently on proof of concepts for new framework/technology/complex solutions.
• Drives application development focused around delivering business valuable features.
• Mentor and assist software engineers, providing technical assistance and direction as needed.
• Maintains high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits Identifies and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Guide software engineers to develop a structured application/interface code, new program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in a casual, flexible environment.
• Communicate with others to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness.
• Identifies and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
• Manages the completion of its own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Based on past experiences and knowledge, works independently with minimal management input and review of end results.
• The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems that may not be obvious. Solves problems by determining the best course of action, within departmental guidelines, from many existing solutions.
• Sets priorities and establishes a work plan in order to complete broadly defined assignments and achieve desired results.
• Participates in brainstorming sessions focused on developing new approaches to meeting quality goals in the measure(s) stated.
• Good team player with sense of accountability, positivity and flexibility.
Basic qualifications:
• Position requires a four-year degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and developing software applications in Java, CSS, JavaScript.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Maven and Azure DevOps
• Proficient in Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/Kanban development process
• Demonstrated leadership on small scale projects impacting strategic Priorities
• Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms
• Preparing of technical documentation
Top candidates will also have:
Proven experience in many of the following,
• At least 5 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (v 5.6.1, 6.0 and higher) components and templates development, AEM Workflows, DAM, Java, J2EE, REST, Servlet, JSP
• Develop Digital Consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM product suite, including WCM, DAM and Social Collaboration.
• Experienced on AEM administration activities like Packaging and Deployments with Maven and Jenkins, using core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, Deployments on TarMK / MongoMK, OSGI Felix configuration, Dispatcher and CDN Caching, Release management, Performance testing etc.
• Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.
• Experienced in deploy and deliver content to multi-region applications for high performance and high availability of content.
• Interact with clients to create end-to-end specifications for content & collaboration solutions and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.
• Apply deep understanding of AEM and other Adobe solutions like Analytics and Campaign to make appropriate technical decisions.
• Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, AEM Mobile and Forms applications and the AEM DAM.
• Good to have exposure in OSGI, Apache Felix, Apache Sling, JCR, Apache Jackrabbit, CRX.
• Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation.
• Good to have experience in more than one CMS platforms other than AEM
• Good to have experience in any CMS to AEM Migration.
• Strong presentation skills to senior management and stakeholders
• Experience using web services (REST, APIs and JSON), AngularJS, Javascript, Query, HTML5, and CSS3 of user-facing features.
• Solid Experience in Web Content Management domain.
• Good Analytical skills.
• Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining software at scale
• Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Maven and Azure DevOps etc.
• Working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum)
