We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will work closely with product development teams, operations teams, and leadership to design and build tools and infrastructure that accelerate engineering productivity.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in container and container orchestration technologies, AWS, and experience with large-scale distributed systems. Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct research on new technologies and lead/contribute to solving complex technical challenges to improve engineering productivity
Design and build infrastructure set up, tools, and utils to accelerate build, testing, release, and deployment
Drive/contribute to standard methodology of improving quality, performance, and security compliance
Enable enterprise-level capabilities using infrastructure-oriented tech stack
Estimated Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related area
Expert to good experience with container and container orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
Expert in AWS
Experience with networking, storage, logging, monitoring, tracing, and alert
Good understanding of CICD standard methodologies and familiar with tools used in CICD pipeline: such as Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and SonarQube
Experience with large-scale distributed systems
Preferred Qualifications
Software development experience in Java, Groovy, Golang, Python, Shell, or similar script/programming language
Experience with software system design
Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skill
Self-driven and motivated in delivering high-quality deliverables
