About the job• The engineer is expected to work with development teams to get the requirements for any new application to be on boarded into CI/CD process.• After completing the script development and process setup, build engineer is expected to execute the builds and deployments to all environments based on the strategy defined.• The engineer is also expected to complete the documentation of all the development/process improvements implemented, also conduct sessions on the same for the end users like DEV/QA teams.• Build engineer is expected to learn the architecture of all the applications to help trouble shoot any issues for each application.• Build engineer needs to periodically analyse the hardware/software capacities of the build infrastructure and provide appropriate recommendations of industry standard new tools or software to the management team for improvements and immediate attention.• Build engineer must be a quick learner and should have the capability to convert an idea into a working PoC model in no time.Must Have :• Must have at least 3-5 years of extensive relevant experience in DevOps Engineering and total experience of not more than 6 years.• Be able to build independent Rest API based tools, CI/CD Solutions• Write scripts and automation tools using bash/python.• Experience in industry standard CI/CD tools like GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins/Bamboo, Maven, Nexus/Artifactory, JIRA and Confluence.• Manage source control tools (GIT) as an admin.• Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.• Good verbal/written communication skills.Good To Have:• Experience in dockers and containerization techniques, also use of ansible as IAC.• Experience in Monitoring tools like Splunk/Grafana/ELK• Experience in Tomcat/Web application servers.
