Job Description
You will be working with a group of software and QA engineers to build microservices that serves as foundation of Lionbridge's enterprise applications, which deliver high quality content, translation, machine translation, and over-the-phone interpretation services to over 2,000 customers worldwide. Your team will have a significant impact on the future direction taken by R&D and play a pivotal role in modernizing Lionbridge's technology stack. Our highly collaborative geo-distributed environment means you will be working with a diverse group of talented people continuously innovating and improving our systems.
Responsibilities
• Design and build microservices that help connect various Lionbridge's applications and provides common functionalities
• Interpret and analyze business requirements to create and review design documents
• Write high quality unit tested code
• Peer review other developers' code
• Provide effort estimate to team lead and product management
• Provide dev-level support, interact with internal and external clients to identify and resolve issues
• Review documentation
Qualifications And Experience
The successful candidate should have the following experience and qualifications:
• 7+ years' experience as a developer with C# and .NET frameworks
• 2+ years of experiences with Azure microservice/serverless application development and storage
• Experience with agile methodology
• Strong knowledge of software design and implementation best practices
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL database
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to express thoughts clearly, ability to listen and contribute effectively in a remote team environment
Additional Nice To Have Skills
• Experience with developing cloud-based server application in high traffic/scalability situation
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, K8s, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with frontend technologies: CSS/HTML/JavaScript/ Node.js, popular frontend frameworks (such as Angular, React, etc.)
• Experience with other public cloud technologies, such as AWS
• Experience with any of the following technologies and systems: content management system, e-commerce system, translation technologies, continuous integration
Educational: Qualification from Technical Background, BE/B-tech Computer Science or MCA
