Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the ShareFile Clients team you will be part of a team directly impacting our mission by engineering ShareFile client tools for the next evolution of the knowledge worker digital frontier. Your goal: enable Mac and iOS users of ShareFile to seamlessly and easily manage and share content from their native devices.
Role Overview:
Now, let’s get to the details. This role will act as a technical leader on their team and across the organization with a focus on the ShareFile Client experience on Apple devices. This includes:
· Strategy
o Trusted Advisor: As a senior engineer in the Document Management and Security area, the team will be looking to you for guidance on the overall desktop and mobile client architecture and engineering processes.
o Building the Right Things: Work with other engineering teams to understand their needs and ensure that they have the components they need, when they need them.
o Subject Matter Expert (SME): Serve as a SME and strategist for all native client-based installations of ShareFile on Apple devices, desktop and mobile.
o Versatile: Collaborate on a team that collectively owns ShareFile Apple, Windows, and Android-based client development as well as the related code pipeline integration.
· Execution
o Technical Excellence: Drive high-quality design and implementation of solutions for our client apps engineering strategy.
o Leadership: Act as a technical leader and mentor for members of the Document Management and Security team.
o Collaboration: You will be working alongside a collaborative and talented team of Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Product Designers. Shared responsibilities range from targeted research, refining requirements, root cause analysis of customer-reported issues, evaluating risks, and creating well-thought-out designs and implementations.
Your Superhero Uniform Includes:
· 5+ years of relevant Mac or iOS software engineering experience.
· Experience in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.
· An understanding of Apple’s concurrency APIs.
· Experience with any of the following technologies: File Providers; Core Data; XPC.
· Firm grasp of the concept (and benefits) of writing clean code in large codebases.
Your Superhero Strengths Include:
· A passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers.
· Fundamental knowledge or previous experience working with Cloud platforms; AWS, Azure or GCP.
· Experience developing integrations with RESTful APIs.
· Experience creating test coverage with XCTest and XCUITest.
· Experience with databases, preferably SQL Server.
· Continuous deployment of software using a CI/CD pipelines
