As part of the engineering team your mission is to deliver high quality software at speed to our own Retail Stores. You will be developing and operating our software products, showcasing your creativity and using the latest technologies to bring ideas to life. You will support a multi-year project to migrate from LS NAV to Central. In addition, you will support integration scenarios and additional services to move delivery from external vendors inhouse.

• You will lead and mentor the DEV team for the adidas Retail Checkout solutions – LS Central + GK POS including mobile POS and Self CheckOut kiosk
• You will understand the full E2E process along.
• Get ready to work with QA & DevOps teams and collaborate with solution architects, product owners and project managers.
• You will be a sponge, continuously learning the latest tech from experienced colleagues, conferences, and trainings – always growing and improving.
• You will review and improve existing release processes to enable developed features in live systems.
• You will engage with key stakeholders (business, markets, SREs, vendors …).
• You will ensure team code is compliant with code quality and standards.
• You highlight tech debt and ensuring it’s addressed as part of product roadmap
What We Are Looking For
• Required technical in-depth knowledge in LS Retail, LS Central and GK POS (optional)
• Hands-on experience with C/AL and AL (design and development)
• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication paradigms
• Experience working in agile teams.
• DevOps mentality and willingness to be part of the DevOps culture to do support for the services/ products that are being built.
• Eager to look for perfection in your coding through software development best practices, Continuous Integration/Delivery, Test Automation and Everything as Code
• Motivation to never stop learning in the digital IT space
• Experience in management of small or midsize engineering teams working in an international environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent in English.
• College or university degree with focus on IT or equivalent.
• Min. 10 years of Software Engineering IT experience

• Experience in software development in C/AL, AL
• Certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Business Central certification.
• Expertise in Microsoft (Dynamics) NAV (versions 200+ R2, 2015, Business Central)
• Experienced in cloud-based solutions, e.g., AWS
• Hands-on experience in data integration technologies and methodologies (SAP HANA, Hadoop, TIBCO, Kafka and related query / processing languages like SQL, Hive, Pig, Map Reduce)
• Hands-on experience with Payment provider along with API integrationAgile methodologies: Scrum/Kanban
• Release Management & Deployments
• CI/CD: Jenkins pipelines
• Messaging: Kafka
Nice To Have
• Languages: Java 8 /11
• Framework: Spring Boot,
• Container knowledge: Kubernetes, Docker
• Database: Cassandra, Elastic Search, Oracle
