Senior Software Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION :
Lionbridge is seeking a talented individual to work as a Senior Software Engineer. You will be the part of team that develops software to connect clients to Lionbridge's world-class translation technology.
Also crucial for building new components that help modernize Lionbridge's technology stack. We are looking for high performers that consistently demonstrate an unusual level of commitment, competence, and creativity.
Job Responsibilities
• coding of new features and components
• Writing and delivering correct and well-designed software components in C#, AngularJS.
• Working cooperatively in a team of engineers and program managers.
• Supporting the existing code base and diagnosing support issues.
• Participating in daily stand-up meetings.
• Review and implement design created by system analyst
• Write high quality unit tested code
• Peer review other developers' code
• Interact with product management and team lead to provide effort estimate
• Provide dev-level support, interact with clients to identify and resolve issues
• Review documentation
Required Skills and Experiences
• Expertise in C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, HTML 5 / CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, Web API, .Net core & GIT
• Very good knowledge of Angular
• Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks like NUnit or built-in Visual Studio testing tools
• Knowledge of working with Azure Devops
• Knowledge of Agile project methodology
• Participates in all aspects of the product development life cycle from design to delivery
• Ready to work on new technologies if required
• Work as an individual contributor
• Participate in testing process through unit testing and bug fixing
• Applies diagnostic and debugging skills to troubleshoot complex software applications
• Well organized, good communication and reporting skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on delivery
• Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
• Replacement should work in second shift time IST 12.30pm to +.30pm.
Education :
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred
