About the Role: • As a Software Engineer in DBA role, we need min of 8yrs to Max 10yrs of experience in DBA (SQL, RDBMS) aspects. • As a Role is expected to grow so other aspects will be required in day-to-day work like – Gitlab/GitHub, Strategies and implementation of improving backup/security/performance and other various aspects. Responsibilities: • Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. • Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs. • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews. • Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders. • Resolve technical issues as necessary. • Keep abreast of new technology developments. • Complete bug fixes. • All other duties as assigned. Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following skills/characteristics: • Overall Work Experience: 8~12 Years • At least 3-4 Years of experience in database administration on the AWS platform, including experience with AWS managed databases. • Strong understanding of database concepts, including database design, normalization, and indexing. • Knowledge of high availability and scalability solutions for databases, with a focus on supporting legacy Percona clusters and MySQL instances. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Willingness to provide out-of-hours support for critical issues. Good to Have: • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. • AWS certification.
